What this is
Breath of My Breath offers contemplative tools — the Mirror, Separation, Duality — and a private journal that maps the structure of your thinking over time. Its replies and maps are made by AI models.
What this isn’t
It is not therapy, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a crisis service. The Mirror only asks questions; its reflections and the maps drawn from your entries can be wrong, incomplete, or simply not fit you. Hold them lightly, and rely on your own judgement and on qualified people for decisions that matter.
If you are in danger or crisis, please contact a local emergency number or a crisis line near you.
Your account
You sign in with an email link, or with Apple or Google. Keep access to that email and those accounts to yourself — whoever can open your sign-in link can open your journal. Give a name and an email address that are yours to use.
What’s yours
Everything you write, record, upload, or keep stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it, and send it to the providers named in our Privacy page only to run the service for you — to answer, transcribe, map, and show it back to you. That permission ends when you delete the entry or your account.
What you publish on your public page stays yours too. You let us show it at its address, to anyone with the link, and to search engines if you allow them, until you unpublish it or delete it.
Bring only what you have the right to bring. If you upload someone else’s recording or document, or import a video, that’s on you to have permission for.
What we ask
- Don’t use it to harm, harass, or deceive anyone, or to break the law.
- Don’t try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or around our limits and protections.
- Don’t overload it, scrape it, or automate it in ways a person wouldn’t.
- Don’t use it to build a competing AI product from its outputs.
- Publish only your own words, and nothing private about other people.
- Don’t give your page a name that pretends to be someone else.
We limit how much each person can ask of the paid AI tools in a given time, so the service stays open for everyone.
Leaving, and being asked to leave
You can export everything and delete your account at any time from Account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk; unless the law or safety prevents it, we’ll tell you and give you a chance to export first.
We may take down a public page, or a page’s name, that breaks these terms. To report one, write to hello@breathofmybreath.com with its address.
As it is
We’re a small project and we’ll keep changing it. The service is provided as it is and as available, without promises that it will always be up, error-free, or suited to a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits rights you have that the law doesn’t let us limit.
Changes and questions
If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and say at the top of this page what changed. Questions: hello@breathofmybreath.com.
